Biography

Since Chief Sweep’s inception twenty years ago, we have become a leader in our industry, serving over 2,000 customers in the Santa Barbara County. We believe in treating the customer as if they’re one of the family, which is why we have repeat customers year after year. Being a family owned business allows us to treat our customers with care, making every customer know how important they are to us. The company consists of Richard Lauritson as Founder, Cathy Lauritson as Co-Founder, Ashley Lauritson as Owner, and Cody Lauritson as our Intern. Another key to our success is Richard’s qualifications. He has worked for the fire department for twenty-two years, obtained a fire technology certificate through Allen Hancock College, and has taken continuing education courses in fire safety throughout his career. Richard is also a licensed general contractor. Chief Sweep is a family owned business and we are proud of our excellence in customer service and our devotion and commitment to our customers.
